Your gift can be doubled to defend freedom
For years, many Americans have believed socialism had been relegated to the history books.
Not anymore.
Today, democratic socialism is experiencing a resurgence in American politics and culture. Its advocates promise fairness, security, and prosperity. Yet history tells a very different story.
Every nation that has embraced Marxist ideas has seen government grow more powerful while individual liberty and economic freedom steadily diminish. Too often, socialism becomes the gateway to something even darker…communism.
That is why the work of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation has never been more important.
And today, you have an opportunity to make twice the impact!
A generous supporter has renewed a $50,000 matching challenge for the Lee & Anne Edwards Freedom Fund. You may remember this donor’s establishment of this challenge last year, which was successful thanks to your support.
Every dollar you give before August 27 will be matched dollar for dollar.
That means:
$50 becomes $100.
$100 becomes $200.
$500 becomes $1,000.
Your gift will help educate the next generation before the dangerous ideas of socialism and communism become accepted as historical truth.
The Lee & Anne Edwards Freedom Fund honors the remarkable legacy of Dr. Lee Edwards, VOC’s co-founder, and his wife Anne.
Lee devoted his life to exposing the crimes of communism and defending the principles that have allowed freedom to flourish. Anne believed that future generations would only preserve liberty if they first understood how easily it can be lost.
That conviction is becoming increasingly urgent.
Recent polling continues to show troubling levels of support for socialism among younger Americans. Too many students graduate without learning about the more than 100 million victims of communist regimes or understanding the connection between collectivist ideology and political repression.
VOC exists to change that.
Your support equips teachers with accurate classroom resources. It helps students hear firsthand testimony from survivors of communist regimes. It expands educational programs at the Victims of Communism Museum in Washington, DC. And it ensures more young Americans understand why free markets, individual rights, and limited government remain essential to preserving liberty.
This is not simply about remembering history.
It is about shaping America’s future.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to unlock the full matching gift before midnight on August 26. Will you help us meet this challenge?
Please make your most generous gift today while every dollar will be doubled through the Lee & Anne Edwards Freedom Fund.
