VOC Testifies Before the Congressional-Executive Commission on China

On Thursday, May 14, VOC Fellow Ethan Gutmann spoke before the Congressional-Executive Commission on China on a panel entitled A Market Built on Victims: Stopping Illegal Organ Trafficking in China and Beyond. Gutman provided detailed accounts of his groundbreaking field research into China’s brutal system of forced organ harvesting, which targets minority and dissident groups like the Uyghurs as well as Falun Gong practitioners.
