The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC) has been on the frontlines against the CCP, exposing Beijing’s malign behavior, including its internment camps in Xinjiang, Orwellian surveillance and social control mechanisms, mass forced labor of ethnic minorities, forced organ harvesting of political prisoners, and forced sterilization schemes amounting to genocide under the Geneva Convention.
VOC’s groundbreaking China Studies Program research has garnered wide media attention, galvanized human rights groups, and directly led to significant policy responses including the strongest Magnitsky sanctions on Chinese officials to-date in July 2020, the US government’s genocide determination in January 2021, and the US regionwide ban on Xinjiang cotton and tomatoes in February 2021.
Unsurprisingly, the communist regime has responded with propaganda attacks against VOC, multiple threatened lawsuits, as well as sanctions against our researchers.
