Fellowships in Polish Studies
The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation seeks candidates for the positions of Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow in Polish Studies.
Both fellowships will be based in our offices in Washington, DC (contingent on prevailing global circumstances) and will report directly to the Director of Fellowship Programs. Fellows will be tasked with writing a report of significant length on a proposed research topic aimed at understanding Polish history and relevant to the Foundation’s mission. Fellows will fully participate in the publication and promotion process, including public presentations and briefings to the U.S. Congress, administrative officials, diplomatic delegations, and academic conferences as appropriate. Fellows will also conduct peer reviews of VOC Polish studies related academic resources and assist in organizing the Foundation’s yearly academic conference on Central and Eastern Europe.
Call for Applications: Supporting Victims of the Chinese Communist Party’s Repression in Xinjiang
The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC) invites applications for funding independent advocacy initiatives that relate to supporting victims of CCP’s repression in Xinjiang, with a preference for ending forced labor and human rights related topics. Through witness testimony videos, advocacy campaigns, artistic work, education, and/ or other awareness-raising initiatives, proposed projects will aim to promote the stories and daily realities of those negatively impacted by CCP’s repression in Xinjiang.
