Romania’s Minister of Culture Visits the VOC Museum

On November 30, 2023, Romania’s Minister of Culture, Raluca Turcan, visited the Victims of Communism Museum in Washington D.C. The delegation toured the museum galleries, including the temporary exhibit on the Ukrainian Holodomor, and met with Ambassador Andrew Bremberg, President of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. VOC was honored to discuss with the Minister the importance of remembering the victims of communism around the world, especially in Romania, and how best to preserve this history through educating about the dangers of communism.
