Valdes Mesa Highlights Ties Between Communist Parties Of China, Cuba
The Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and the Communist Party of China (CPCh) enjoy full maturity and mutual political confidence based on fluid exchange, Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes Mesa said on Sunday. At a meeting in Beijing with Song Tao, head of the International Department of the CPCh Central Committee, at the headquarters of that organization, Valdes Mesa, who is also a member of the PCC Political Bureau, conveyed a brotherly, friendly, and revolutionary greeting from the Cuban Party and people.


Tremendous Similarity Between BJP And Communist Party Of China: Shivraj
After a six-day tour to China, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has drawn parallels between the Communist party of China and the BJP. Striking similarities between the two parties will boost economic ties too, he said. After his return, he tweeted, “Communist Party of China & BJP have done numerous works in social field. This way, there is tremendous similarities between the two parties.”

Tens of thousands of men and women have taken part in an anti-US rally in North Korea. People carrying propaganda slogans marched into Kim II Square in the countries’ capital Pyongyang to take part in the protest. The event which takes part in June every year, marks the anniversary of the Korean War which started on June 25, 1950. This year marks the 66th anniversary of the start of the Korean War.


Hopes Of Peace For Communist Insurgents In Philippines
Expectations are high that the Philippines will be able to resolve one of Asia’s longest-running insurgencies. The incoming administration of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte has not wasted time engaging with the National Democratic Front of the Philippines, an umbrella group of 18 outlawed organizations, including the Communist Party of the Philippines and its armed wing, the New People’s Army.


Cuban Migrants Come Ashore In Hollywood, Key Biscayne

Two groups of Cuban migrants reached South Florida shores after nearly two weeks at sea, bringing their journey to freedom to an emotional end in front of dozens of beachgoers. Officials said nine men and one woman came ashore in Hollywood, Saturday afternoon. Cellphone video captured the migrants jumping out of their 10-foot wooden rowboat and setting foot on American soil as onlookers cheered them on. Some of them were seen kissing the sand.
