Włodzmierz Batóg, Ph.D.
Dr. Włodzmierz Batóg is Professor of American History at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland, and recipient of many European and American research grants including Fulbright Fellowship at Boston College in 2002-2003, and Kosciuszko research grant at New York University in 2018. His research concentrates on American communism and anticommunism and radical left in the 1950s and 1960s. Batog is currently working on two projects on international and domestic meaning of Billy Graham’s visit to Poland in 1978, and Poles in the American Communist Party. In his free time enjoys the talent of the Rolling Stones and the beauty of photography.
