H.E. Emanuelis Zingeris

His Excellency Emanuelis Zingeris is a Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, a signatory of the 1990 Act of the Re-Establishment of the State of Lithuania, and a 2010 recipient of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation’s Truman-Reagan Medal of Freedom. He has chaired both the foreign affairs and human rights committees, and served as Director of the Vilna Gaon Jewish State Museum, Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and Chairman of the International Commission for the Evaluation of the Crimes of the Nazi and Soviet Occupation Regimes in Lithuania.
