Randal Cornell Teague
Randal Teague is Vice Chairman of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC).
Randal Teague served two White House Administrations as Chairman of their U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Assistance and as an economic policy analyst in the Executive Office of the President of the United States. He has served as a Fellow at the Atlantic Council of the United States and legal counsel and trustee of the Salzburg Global Seminar.
He was legal counsel to and is presently a director and corporate secretary of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) as to its elections programs in over one hundred-and-forty-five countries and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Fund for American Studies (TFAS), including in respect to its economics, political science and journalism programs in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
He was chief of staff and legislative counsel to Congressman Jack Kemp (NY) who later served as a Cabinet Secretary to President George H.W. Bush.
While a senior partner in the Washington office of a Midwestern law firm, he specialized in international trade and development, non-profit tax law and regulation, and government relations. He holds a B.A. from American University, J.D. and LL.M. with honors law degrees from George Washington University and has been conferred two honorary doctorates in law and humanities. Editor of Readings on East-West Trade and Team Leader for A Changing University for a Changing World, he has traveled in over 100 countries.
