Monika Brzozowska-Pasieka, Ph.D.
Dr. Monika Brzozowska-Pasieka is an attorney at law, academic lecturer, and author of numerous books and articles on human rights, personal right law, and intellectual property law (including digital, GDPR, and press law). As an attorney at law, she has represented former prisoners of German Nazi concentration camps against German entities (publishers and newspapers). She has provided legal training for judges and prosecutors at the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution, as well as lectures on civil and copyright law at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and the Pedagogical University of Kraków. In 2019, she was awarded the title of Council of Europe expert on human rights. She received he Ph.D. in Law from The University of Silesia and is a graduate of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University’s Faculty of Law and Administration and Faculty of Political Sciences.
