H.E. Emil Constantinescu
His Excellency Emil Constantinescu is a member of the National Advisory Council of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation and served as the President of Romania from 1996 to 2000. As president, Constantinescu focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation among nations, targeting corruption, and advocating for human rights and the rule of law. Working along with President Bill Clinton, he launched “the Romania-U.S. Strategic Partnership.” He is also a member of the International Board of the East West Institute, the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, and the International Centre for Democratic Transition.
