The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation invites you to the VOC Museum for a performance by the Ukrainian Cultural Forces. This free event, featuring Ukrainian classical and world music from professional artists who are now active duty soldiers, is part of a music tour of gratitude to America.
The Ukrainian Cultural Forces, the cultural arm of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, will be touring in the United States to thank the American people for their support in helping Ukraine in its battle for liberation from Russia’s invasion.
After serving in combat and healing from injuries, these musicians now use their musical gifts to represent their country and their people’s fight for freedom. Performances will include renditions of a wide variety of music, from Ukrainian and world classical pieces to covers of popular hits, including by a master of the traditional Ukrainian string instrument, the bandura.
