Join VOC, the Joint Baltic American National Committee, and the Embassies of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to commemorate the 37th anniversary of the Baltic Way. On August 23, 1989, 2 million Estonians, Latvians, and Lithuanians formed a human chain connecting the cities of Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius in protest of the Soviet Occupation and the historic injustice of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.
On Monday, August 24, we will gather at McPherson Square in front of the Victims of Communism Museum to commemorate the enduring spirit of Baltic Unity and the pursuit of freedom and independence. We hope to see you there.
