Captive Nations 2025

Please join the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC) and save the date for our annual Captive Nations Week event.

On Monday, July 14 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Victims of Communism Museum in downtown Washington, D.C., VOC will lead efforts to mark National Captive Nations Week, in fulfillment of the 1959 congressional resolution adopted during the Eisenhower administration to show American solidarity with nations subjugated by communism. This year’s Captive Nations Summit will bring together senior leaders, international experts, and dissidents to discuss the deadly, and sadly, enduring legacy of communism, and the lessons learned for current and future generations of freedom fighters.

Register for the event below, and we hope to see you there!
