Celebrate America’s 250th with a Gift That Brings History to Life
This summer, we’re proud to partner with American Journey Experience to bring an extraordinary temporary exhibition to the Victims of Communism Museum in Washington, DC.
Visitors will encounter an early manuscript of Jefferson’s handwritten Declaration of Independence, complete with revisions and cross-outs that reveal the birth of the American experiment in real time.
They’ll also see a rare 1823 stone facsimile of the Declaration of Independence, along with remarkable objects that illuminate the nation’s founding…from a signal cannon and a 1599 Geneva Bible to George Washington’s survey tool and spectacles.
The VOC Museum offers something distinctive: we confront the crimes and false promises of communism while highlighting the enduring power of individual liberty, representative government, and free enterprise through powerful visuals, outstanding art, and innovative technology.
We need your help to reach more museum visitors. The VOC Museum is funded entirely by private donations, and your support makes it possible for more visitors to experience this timely exhibition.
Will you give $25, $250, $2,500—or even $25,000—to help bring more visitors to this powerful exhibition?
Please make your best gift today to honor America’s 250th and help us share the story of freedom with a new generation.
