Captive Nations Christmas Tree

Join us at the VOC Museum for the inaugural lighting of the Captive Nations Christmas Tree on Saturday, December 14th at 11:00 AM. A symbol of hope and a solemn reminder of those persecuted for their faith by communist regimes around the globe, this holiday celebration will feature refreshments, festivities, and events for parents and children alike during VOC’s Family Day at the Museum.

Embassies, partner organizations, and private individuals are invited to contribute an ornament that represents their country’s unique heritage, culture, or history. Each ornament will symbolize solidarity with nations who have faced oppression and will serve as a meaningful reminder of the global pursuit of freedom and justice.

If you would like to contribute an ornament from your community to add to the tree’s display, please contact VOC’s Director of Coalitions, Milda Mataciunaite-Boyce, at milda.boyce@victimsofcommunism.org or (202) 864-2417.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to your participation in this special celebration.
