Mariliis Tõitoja
Baltic American Research Fellow
Mariliis Tõitoja is a Baltic American Research Fellow at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. At VOC, she works with the foundation’s Fellowships & Coalitions, Communications, and Development departments. Mariliis’ fellowship program at VOC was made possible by the Professional Internship Program Scholarship awarded by the Baltic-American Freedom Foundation (BAFF).
Previously, Mariliis worked as the Head of the Educational Department at the Estonian Open-Air Museum, where she managed strategic development and communications with interest groups. Mariliis holds a bachelor’s degree in history with a Minor in Social Sciences and a master’s degree in history from Tallinn University in Estonia.
