Support our annual Captive Nations Summit and honor the memory of the more than 100 million victims of communism and the more than 1.5 billion still held captive under communist regimes, and celebrate liberty where it has triumphed. Each July, the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation leads efforts to mark National Captive Nations Week, in fulfillment of the 1959 congressional resolution adopted during the Eisenhower administration to show American solidarity with nations subjugated by communism. This year’s Captive Nations Summit will focus on former captive nations that have joined NATO’s united alliance, Russia’s ongoing aggression toward its neighbors, and the future for a free Ukraine. We aim to continue the conversations from the NATO meeting with two expert panels and a reception. By contributing to VOC, you allow our educational work to continue.
