In addition to departmental assignments, interns also have opportunities to meet with top policymakers, government officials, anti-communist dissidents, and defectors.
“My time at VOC has given me the opportunity to immerse myself in a professional environment and engage with work that I find meaningful and fulfilling. I am grateful for the time I spent and the people I encountered this semester, and would encourage any student to apply to expand their own knowledge and work experience.” – Meg H.
“I truly valued the opportunities I was given to meet with policy makers, dissidents, defectors, and people who wanted to tell their personal stories about combatting communism.” – Krista V.
“During this internship, I engaged in meaningful work and honed essential research and writing skills that I will use in the future. As a believer in VOC’s mission to educate the youth of this country about the dangers of communism, it was a great privilege to contribute to their efforts. If you are interested in history and want to use your skills for a worthy cause, you should consider interning at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation.” – Eliseo N.
