VOC Launches Search for New President and CEO
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Board of Trustees of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, Inc. has launched a nationwide search for a new President and CEO.
The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation is a nonprofit, non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to commemorating the more than 100 million victims of communism around the world, educating today’s and future generations about the deadly ideology, history, and legacy of communism, and promoting the freedom of more than one billion people still held captive by communist regimes.
Since its founding in 1994, VOC has grown to include the award-winning Witness Project, the National Seminar for Middle and High School Educators, an active bipartisan Congressional caucus, geographically-focused research on China, Latin America, and Europe, and educational and policy outreach at the national, state, and local levels. VOC also awards the prestigious Truman-Reagan Medal of Freedom to distinguished individuals who have demonstrated a lifelong commitment to freedom and democracy and opposition to communism.
“The Foundation now looks forward to the dedication of its crown jewel—the Victims of Communism Museum—later this year,” said VOC Chairman and Acting CEO Edwin J. Feulner, “and we seek a new leader to join us in advancing our existing programs and achieving this milestone.”
Interested candidates should submit applications to ceosearch@victimsofcommunism.org.
