Uncensoring China: A Discussion Panel & Movie Screening at American University

VOC invites you to join us for a day of events at American University to highlight the ongoing human rights abuses committed by the Chinese Communist Party. These events are sponsored by VOC, Initiatives for China, and the American University School of Public Affairs Leadership Program.

In light of China’s ongoing efforts in political persecution, mass censorship, and organ harvesting, we have gathered together scholars, activists, and a former political prisoner to share their stories about life under the Chinese regime. Following the discussion panel and screening of The Bleeding Edge, Anastasia Lin, lead actress in The Bleeding Edge, will be participating in a Q&A session to speak further about Chinese forced organ harvesting and her experiences as a Chinese human rights activist.
