You are cordially invited to join the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation and the Joint Baltic American National Committee, Inc, together with members of the diplomatic corps and community representatives in a remembrance and commemoration of Black Ribbon Day on Wednesday, August 23 from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the Victims of Communism memorial.

The Memorial is located at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue NW and Massachusetts Avenue NW, in Washington, DC.

This year’s Black Ribbon Day (#BlackRibbonDay2017) will be the 78th year anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, the secret protocol between Hitler and Stalin that divided Eastern Europe between the two totalitarian regimes of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.
